DANIELS’~ painted in 1971 , now available as a limited Giclee original print~!

While visiting ‘home’ recently I took some digital pictures of my early paintings done when I was a teenager back  in ‘forever’, lol…

This one I simply referred to as  ’Waterwheel’ [original huh?lol] It was painted 9×12 on carved ceramics. I was really into ceramics & pottery as a teen as there was a shop nearby where I could fire up my creations and I was avid with it til they closed down a few years  later.

In the Fallo of 2009 when I had these printed up into Post Cards, a friend’s husband suddenly died and so I decided to formally name the digital repainting of this scene into ‘DANIEL’S MILL AT SUNSET”

After moving to the country in 1985 I had hoped to one day have my own kiln and resume my 3 dimensional art but alas every house I have had since has never had the power availability to run a kiln, so I opted to paint  on canvas woos & rock and anything else~

This digital art file, I edited and redrew in some portions that were needed so I could print this .After several hours of touchups and alterations, it was ready!!

I tried printing in on my Premium High Gloss thick Epson paper and it came out great.Then I resized it and printed in on Legacy Canvas Paper and the results were more than anticipated. On the Legacy it is softer , a little lighter looking  like a real water color painting!Real as if I were to have hand painted it with watercolors that is…It is however better than a watercolor as the details achieved would have been hard to hand paint with watercolors and perhaps acrylics would do better.

Never the less this First OSWOA 5×7 Giclee Original Print is what I am now auctioning off here on ebay , along with my regular artworks.
